Artistic Practice
Chloé Jeanne explores the living as she conceives biomaterials. Her work lies at the intersection of scientific research and design. She creates installations and sculptures within powerful multi-sensory environments. Space, objects, odors, living organisms constitute the vocabulary she deploys within a narrative that plays with the ambiguities of perception. To grow your own material, to be able to shape it, to be aware of its needs, to learn about its virtues and flaws, all these acts create a virtually intimate relationship between the artist and her medium.

The Bouquet of Funghi or Mycelial Poetics
For her research and artistic residency, Chloé Jeanne proposes new experiments to create original works that incorporate various types of mycelium. She will explore the olfactory dimension in her works by introducing the smell of mushrooms.
